Research

As part of my research into platforms that offer personalized coaching services for the group project, I analyzed WeCoach.gg, a dedicated website for League of Legends coaching. The platform allows users to browse through a diverse roster of coaches, each with detailed profiles that include their ranks, expertise, pricing, and user reviews. This transparency helps players select a coach that matches their specific needs, such as improving mechanics or mastering a particular champion. Coaches offer a variety of session types, such as VOD reviews, live gameplay analysis, and strategy discussions, which cater to different learning styles. This personalized approach makes WeCoach.gg more effective for players seeking targeted improvement compared to general guides or tutorials found online.

The website features a clean and intuitive layout, allowing users to easily navigate through sections. The color scheme is cohesive and visually appealing, enhancing readability. There are interactive elements, such as clickable coach profiles and straightforward booking options.

For our group project, I thought we can take away the importance of having a clean and easy-to-use interface, detailed profiles, and personalized learning experiences that meet different needs. Features like smooth navigation, interactive elements, and clear organization of services make the platform more user-friendly and accessible—ideas we can use to make our project more engaging and effective.

Time organisation

The following diagram was used for our group project work plan and i followed it exclusively and i believe that helped me build myself into being more organized and able to structure my weeks better.

User interactions

The group project research period was a possibility for me to learn about how to approach users. Besides working on the survey with the team, I conducted an interview with a teacher who was in our target group after getting feedback. The interview's goal was to understand what would be the most fitting content our site can provide and if certain features we had thought of would suit it.

Presentation

For the presentation, I contributed to developing a clear and organized structure, ensuring that the content flowed logically and aligned with our objectives. I focused on delivering information in a way that was engaging and tailored to our primary audience—our teachers—highlighting key points that would resonate with their interests and expectations. I made sure the visuals and speaking points were cohesive and professional, supporting the overall message we aimed to convey. Additionally, I incorporated feedback from my group members to refine the presentation, ensuring it was polished and effectively communicated our ideas.

Teamwork and soft skills

Working with my team on the League of Legends Coaching website was a great experience that helped me improve both the project and my own skills. Collaborating with others allowed me to get better at communicating, working together, and solving problems. Feedback from my teammates gave me new ideas and helped me adjust the design and coding to meet our goals. I also learned how to manage my time better and stay organized by dividing tasks and meeting deadlines. Taking the lead when needed helped me build leadership skills, and being open to feedback pushed me to improve. Overall, working as a team made the website better and helped me grow as a more capable and flexible team member.

Peer feedback

During class we had the task to give eachother peer feedback in order to determine areas we need to improve. Each member had to give leave a comment and give out marks to eachother. The results you can see from below lead me to focus on being more acceptive and asking more questions about my group members opinions and how we should do thing as while for them i ranked high in other aspects this is what i had needed to work on.
